i did go nuts for 03/06/09. and of course 08/08/08, on which i watched the sun set from an airplane from LA to SF. that was nicely symbolic.

We’re one of the few generations to have lived through _two_ palindromic years: 1991 and 2002.

Doesn’t happen that often, and is rare to have two within a lifetime.
